Linear link between slabs/floor

Hi

I need a linear connection between two slabs not laying in the same plane.

Does Robot have such a tool similar to rigid link but for along a full edge?

Regards

Peder

Yes use rigid links or vertical panel with high stiffness.

Dear Rafal / Artur

Greetings

Could I do to model a beam at the center line elevation of the actual beam and then use (RL) to connect the beam with upper and lower slab ( First capture ) ?

If so, then:

1. Is it correct to use (RL) at the beam ends (Column locations) as indicated in the first capture?

2. If I use a panel instead of beam (Second capture), is there any way to compare the analysis results between (Panel vs. Beam) for instance (Bending moment)?

rtd. File is attached

Thanks in advance
Refaat

I think it is as you did the same for  tho other mode.

Only indirectly making a series of vertical cuts and checking the reduced moments in them.

@Refaat Did you found any difference using the two approaches? I mean using panel or beam.

Thx.
