Layered Wall Sections

I would like to create a model in Robot with multi-layered walls.  Each wall has 3 layers with different properties (outter structural layers and an internal insulation layer).  If I create the cross section of the wall in a "Section Definition Project," how do I export this to the structural model? I found the "Save Section to Database" option, however the section does not show up in the structural model.

Hi sadornati,

The posts that Artur suggested are the perfect way to model a composite multi layered shell. My personal suggestion is to make an equivalent single layer shell. This will avoid the possibility to have a very complex model to manage. The easiest way is always the best

Good luck

Thank you.  The simple model was the way to run it.
