There is the tool for such conversion. Please run:

32bit Robot: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Structural\COM\2011\DBAccess\DbUpdate.exe

64bit Robot: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Structural\COM\2011\DBAccess\DbUpdate.exe

problem is RSA2011 is on a new computer and don't find previous version

Indeed both versions have to be installed on the same computer to use this tool but this can be easily solved by installing Robot v.2011 (even in the trial mode) on the computer where v.2010 is installed. After converting the databases you can copy them to the other machine. Otherwise upload the old databases and I will try to make the conversion for you.

some trouble to install on my laptop...finally I have  renamed my database  to Ruserpro.mdb. that  doesn't work with  any name.

What is the reason you want to convert the standard French material database from the older version of Robot? Is it because you have added new materials and you want to have them in the new version of Robot as well (otherwise there is no need to make this action as this database in xml format is installed with Robot 2011)?

Could you generate the log file and upload it please?

Maybe trying to "clean" the target directory will help :

- Close any RSA 2011 session

- Using windows explorer go in directory C:\Users\"your name or login"\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Structural\Common Data\ (on win 7 or vista, C:\Documents and Settings\"your name or login"\Application Data\Autodesk\Structural\Common Data\ for Win xp)

- Rename directory "2011" in something else (i.e "2011_old")

- Create a new directory "2011", it will be empty

- Try to use convert tool again
