Group of walls

is there any way to create a entity grouping  two or more connected walls and treat them as single one , and extract all its geometrical caracteristics ( Section, Inertias , ... ) and reduced efforts ( without using cuts ).

Thank you

Yes, using "core walls" option under geometry. You assign any given number of walls to a core wall group.

To view results, go to results, diagrams for buildings, core walls.

Bear in mind you need to have the storeys well defined as the core wall grouping relies on having nicely defined stories to run correctly.

IN case of properties modification you may griup them in standard group

Thank You Tony & Rafal ;

if i define a core wall composed from a series of wall ; is these walls need to be connected on there edges ?

By using API , can i extract reduced results ( M , V , T ) at the base of a core wall with the same way as for a simple or group of walls.

Thank you

Yes, to get correct results.

UNfortunately there is no API for core walls. You may use standard panels results or reduced ones.
