Global Buckling Shape

Hello,

I'm trying to get the global buckling mode shapes of my structure (4937 nodes and 11544 bars). The results I got are only local buckling modes (15 modes).. How can I get the global buckling modes?

Thank you,

Pedro

You need to increase the number of modes and check their shapes to identify the right ones.

I've increased for 100 modes. There is no global buckling shpe... Only for local elements buckling. Should I increase indefinitely?

Thank you

Either this or try to use the shift as explained in http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Robot-Structural-Analysis/Negative-critical-coefficients-in-buckling-a...
