Footfall Analysis - AISC DG11 vs Concrete Centre

Hi,

I have performed footfall anaylsis on a number of buildings, and in almost all cases the buildings fail the criteria for the Concrete Centre (Rf<8) when that analysis is run, but when the AISC DG11 analysis is run the buildings pass with flying colours (max a < 50mm/s/s).

Further, I'm getting some funny discrepencies in the results, each giving different problem areas. For example:

Concrete Centre Method:

AISC DG11 Method

Ultimately I am designing the building for AISC DG11 criteria, but was just wanting to know if the Concrete Centre calculation method is more accurate, and if it is normal to have such large differences between the analysis methods?

I've attached some screenshots of my results, and a link to my model is here:

Regards,

Hi @d.cooney

I had checked the footfall analysis according to Aisc Design guide 11 manually and using Robot and both giving closed results .

I am not familiar with concrete cente.
