Hey,
I've got a floor which needs to span only in 1 direction.
I did a little test (used a hollow slab) and I get it to span in a direction, but I cant control the direction it is spanning in!
What else do I need to do?
The floor is carried by 4 concrete beams under every flooredge.

You should define the directions of the slab main span and load distribution in the same way. As the one way load distribution follows the local X of the panel (I know that everybody reads help )
http://docs.autodesk.com/RSA/2012/ENU/filesROBOT/GUID-F57A58F9-81AA-4410-84EA-6BFFD83D115-214.htm
then you should define the ortho thickness in the same way (automatic direction stands for local X of the panel as well).

Thanks Romanich, but it didnt seem te make a difference.
Artur, I changed the local x axis. That seems to turn it.
The wiki is a lot of text and I got little time. I did got to that page, but I didnt get out of it how I could change this axis and that I had to change it.
So sorry if I keep asking things that should be obvious!
Thanks
The things seems to be obvious when you already know them Please feel free to ask all sort of questions you may have - this is what the forum is all about anyway. I'm glad that I managed to help.
