I created polylines in a model along the slab edges and added wind loading to them. I am now working with a different model of the same project. Is there a way to bring the polylines into my new model without having to redraw them. Saving and Updating Substructure did not seem to work. Also copy and pasting did not work either.

- select lines ,polylines, whatever
- Geometry \ Structure \ Save Substructure
- in new model Geometry \ Structure \ Insert from file , select *.rtd extension mask, select saved file
Ok it sort of works. The polylines cappeared alright but were not inserted at the correct location. I guess it has something to do with the attached dialog box.
Yes, insert them in "easy to use" place then move to correct location or...
Usually the insertion point is the node with the lowest number. So add node number 1 somewhere to polyline file and then Robot should treat it as a reference for insertion.
Thanks, also i noticed it leads as in a 3d view, and I seem to have lost my "plan" view tab
Merci!!
How do I restore the "plan" view tab? After bringing in the file I only have the 3d view, which I can orientate to xy plane, but I am missing the dedicated "plan" view where I can show column shapes in plan view.
