A similar effect was observed on Win XP 32bit machines with memory card readers .

Problem could be avoided changing drive letters for the card reader using Disk Management. We have changed from E, F, G, H to K, L, M, N

Problem was not observed on the identical machine, where Win XP 32bit was replaced by Win XP 64bit

Similar problem is discussed there:

Hello jad,

if you consider that I'm using Robot on WIN 7 64bit I think I will continue to click twice on "Continua" button....waiting for a welcome SP

Bye

Roberto

Morning all,

I have just installed RSA2013, when I run it I also get the harddisk2/DR2 error message. After clicking continue I get through to the project screen, but when I try to create a new project the software stops working and the Autodesk error report box pops up and the software closes after I have clicked to send the report.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Pete

Have you seen crash report window where you can specify e-mail address and report crash? If so please register crash specifying your e-mail address.

Try this: open RC design, if there is no crash please go to Preferences and change OpenGL acceleration, then restart robot and check.

Error report registered and SP2 installed. Still not able progress any further, when accessing a project type it tries to load the model space but then stalls and error report pops up.

The crash is generated by ATI graphics card driver. PLease update your graphics card driver to the newest one.

Thought I should clarify so that you don't think im trigger happy, I logged two reports, pre and post SP2 install, not sure if that helps.

Yes tried going through RC element structure same result, sorry meant to stipulate.

Thanks for looking into it.

Analyzing them we found that crash is caused by ATI graphics card driver.

Peter,

Try this structure type, Tools \ Preferences,  then turn off OpenGL in Robot.
