Display problem with Cyrilic language

Hello to all,

My problem is similar to this, but in my case there is no solution with the proper display of Cyrillic characters (Macedonian language) on the screen and legend description.

The same problem appears in ARSA 2013 and RM 20.1.5. Both are installed on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit with SP1.

The windows setting (system locale) is correctly set to Macedonian language, as seen in the attached picture. Correct characters appear in the dialogue boxes, tables and lists, but hieroglyphs on the screen.

Can you please help me with this issue?

Sergey,

As being written in the message 6 of the topic you referred to the display of 'special' characters from different languages was the reason for having Robot 2014 supporting Unicode. That was intended to solve all such display issues.

Artur,

I have never experienced such problem in WinXP?

Sergey,

when using ARSA 2013 I have received the effect reported by you in both Win 7 and Win XP (BTW in win XP I was not able to select Macedonian for non-Unicode preograms so I have tried Serbian).

As concerns RM 20.1.5 it is completely different story because for this version different compiler was used and significant differences were observed in the display of fonts).

As written by Artur ARSA 2014 was ported to Unicode and no problems with fonts should be observed in this version.

As concerns some workarounds in ARSA 2014 you can temporarily switch off Open GL view using for instance Ctrl+Alt+o shortcut or View/Dynamic View/Dynamic View - as in this video. In such case the descriptions on the screen (like the names of load cases) are displayed with correct fonts.
