Create my own NDS code

Is there a way I can create and use NDS code for timber design?

I am interested in testing this product, but do not like the fact that there is no NDS code for timber design, and the connection module does NOT have an american code.

Terry

You can use spreadsheet calculator (MS Excel addin). Define you own deign checks and pull other information form robot (like section information, internal forces and etc.)

I'm attaching a sample view of one of the timber connection modules of Spreadsheet Calculator (available for download from Autodesk Subscription site) . Starting a new workbook from the Add-Ins tab  (available after installing Robot) you can use the predefined tools for importing data from Robot. The description of the API as well as the corresponding examples are available in the indicated folder after installing Robot.

Well, I am in trial mode, and Subscription features are not available..........

I found a few videos on Youtube from May 2010.  Will these be adequate, or were there substantial updates to that extension ???

Thanks,

Terry

It has not been improved much (not that I have noticed). But it is ready.

Check this site also http://www.esopworld.com/n/esop/en

(it was called ESOP before Autodesk time).

It makes it much easier to connect with Robot than using plain Excel and VBA.

NDS code has been introduced in Robot 2016.
