Cracked deflection question

Currently modelling two slabs. Slab one has a few voids and slab two has no voids in the slab.

 

The max cracked deflection of slab one = 13mm

The max cracked deflection slab two = 20mm

 

I don't understand why removing voids in the slab would increase the deflection, especially by such a large amount.

 

Anyone share some light on this?

Increased weight.
Increased area for loads.

The voids are relatively far away from the area of high deflection. Doesn't seem correct to see such a big change in deflection

Comparing cracked deflections for slabs may not  be an easy task as they depend on generated reinforcement. To do this you should make sure you have similar reinforcement generated and run the verification for the selected SLS combinations best with the stiffness update method launched from the Slab provided reinforcement module.
