Converting 3d solids to shell elements

Hi

I have a fairly complicated 3d solid model of a consistant thickness that I would like modelled as a shell element. This will allow me to alter the thickness accorindgly (hopefully) depeneing on the structural performance.

Is there anyway to do this? The 3d solid geometry was imported from a .sat file.

Not possible.

You have to open already prepared "flat" sat file
