Hi,

I need to change the type of compatibility, I have a lot of nodes compatibles, please see attachement

Please I need some advice how to change the type of nodes compatibility (see my first post)

There is no direct way to change the compatible node label but you may try the following steps:

1. Select all compatible nodes you want to change as well as elements attached to them

2. Save this selection as  a substructure (Geometry > Structure > Save Substructure)

3. Delete the selected nodes and objects from the original model and save it under a new name

3. Open the rtd file created in the point 2

4. Rename the compatibility label by double clicking on its name

5. Edit the compatibility definition

6. Save the file

7. Open the file from point 3

8. Insert the file from point 6 (Geometry > Structure > Insert from file)

Hi, I tried to add compatible nodes definition via text commands but it nothing happened, I am using RSA 20418.

was this option eliminated in the newer versions of RSA? if yes, how can I manually add about 3000 nodes with its compatibles if I have them in an Excel format (similar to the sample below)
