Code combinations

Hi,when generating automatic load combinations

  1. do I omit (uncheck) the seismic load cases generated in X and Y direction from the list of cases and only include (check) the CQC (or Newmark) combinations?

2. If I have only one group for dead load cases (AND), 1 group for live load cases (OR INCL), 1 group for Wind laod cases (OR EXCL) and 1 group for seismic combinations (OR EXCL) ... Do I still need to enter "Relations" between "Groups" on the "Relations" Tab?

Your decision. Usually CQC comb are used.

If you have 1 group it is impossible to create relation "between" groups.

Just move group from left panel to right panel
