Cladding Load Distribution

Hi, I am having  trouble with the member on the screenshot taking a distribution of loading.

I have tried a detailed correct with structure correct to grid, making sure it is being analysed and changing the panel points and I cannot get it to work.

Could you please advise other checks to do. I will forward model if required

Thanks

Enda,

In case of unidirectional distribution there is an assumption in algorithm not to load some members (rafters) if the angle is small - look at screen shot below.

Of course this load which should be generated on such member is distributed on others.

Hi Rafal,

Thanks for the reply, however my query is on the column member on the lower section of the building.

As you can see from the picture there is no load being distributed to this column. Would you be able to have a look please.

Thanks

Enda

Correct your model

move node 179 onto 2723  then correct Y coordinate of this node and cladding point as indicated below
