capacity moment

Can anyone help me with this:

why Mc has a very hight value than the theoretical. 

and why the AS req. have always a very hight value than hand calculation.

The reinfoecement is high so it can resist high moment . Can you attach us your file .

Abr depends on the settings you specify on two dialog boxes:

1- Calculation options

2- Reinforcement patterns

For small moments the theoretical area of reinforcement needed to handle it may be small but the code has got some provisions for (larger) minimal reinforcement (Abmin). For such reinforcement Mc may be higher than the actual value of M.
