Hi,
I have some issues with the built in reinforcement in robot 2015.
I have a plate (arc) with a cross section 150 mm, ø8s150 reinforcement (c=~45mm). This means 335mm2 reinforcement area.
This should give me a M_Rd= 14 kNm.
Robot gives me a global M_Ed= 10.54 kNm, which should be OK.
But when I use the built in suggestion, it says that I need at least 352 mm2 required reinforcement.
Does Robot include more than bending moment in its capasity calculations?

If you selected simple bending then you need to include Mxy as well. The default is simple bending + axial force which may influence minimal area of reinforcement comparing to the simplle bending.

OK thanks,
but how do Robot calculate the combination of bending moment and axial forces? I mean, since this often is solved by eurocode methods..
