(API) macro for nodal displacements in local coordinate system of bars

macro for nodal displacements in local coordinate system of bars

- it works on bars selection made in Robot

- it works for simple cases and manual combinations

- calculation nodes are considered for results presentation

Hello,

I am new to this macro thing.

When I do run the macro for nodal displacements in local coordinate system of bars.

It gives me a warning "Open Robot and Load Model",

Could you please explain the procedure how to use this excel sheet.

Thanks.

BR,

J,Randeep

Try

Go to VBA Editor (Alt+F11), go to References, unmark Robot Object Modeler, close References window by pressing OK, open it again, select  Robot Object Modeler (ver. 14.0. for ARSA 2014), press OK

If it does not help

1. Run Excel as Administrator, run Robot as Administrator, then check macro

2. Check \ set UAC :

If it does not help

unregister ALL ROBOTS you have installed on your computer by command: path_to_robot.exe / unregserver

eg, type such commands in Command Prompt window started in Administrator mode:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2013\System\Exe\robot.EXE" /unRegServer
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2014\System\Exe\robot.EXE" /unRegServer

then

register the one you want to use.

eg:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2014\System\Exe\robot.EXE" /RegServer
