API: Application closes soon after data update

Hi,

I have a utility to generate Robot models from Grasshopper. http://geometrygym.blogspot.com/search/label/Autodesk%20Robot

This doesn't happen everytime, and some models seem more prone to it than others.  After the data has been generated in Robot using the API, the view is left in a plan view.  When the user switches to the application (Started as part of the API update), it often dissappears (crashes) as soon as the user attempts an interaction such as changing to 3d view.  If the first operation attempted is a file save, this usually works and at least means the user can start the application and open the model (which then behaves fine).

Any suggestions on how to keep Robot alive and accessible?  I will try and set up a sample project with code to demonstrate this if it's needed, but thought I would ask first.
