Adjust panel opacity

How can I change panels to be more or less opaque/transparent?

View/Display/View , translucent faces

Makes not much difference. I have floor panels that are a bit transparent but my walls are solid. I want all panels to be solid non-transparent.

Try to use Display > View > Hide invisible lines

Add Translucent Faces to right hand side panel, then turn it off in Display window.
