Abmin, how RSA calculte this value?

The code is ACI 318 08. Asmin in ACI is:

English Units (psi and inches)

Metrics units (Mpa and meters)

The results are not the same. 

The same happens with all beam I tried.

Hi rafal, here is the example. Abmin should be 2.53 cm2.

It should be :

fc = 24.1MPa => 3495 psi

fy = 413.68 MPa => fyd = 60000 psi

bw =0.2m =7.87in

d = 0.4m-0.0581m = 0.3419m = 13.46 in

asmin =3*sqrt(fc)/fy*bw*d =  3*sqrt(3495)/ 60000 * 7.87 * 13.46 = 0.31in^2

asmin = 200*bw*d/fy = 200*7.87*13.46/ 60000 = 0.3531in^2 = 2.28cm2

But we additionally check condition 10.6.4, which gives us also min area, but unfortunately this condition is always checked for rebar #8, instead of #5 as it should be in this example. 

I have reported it to dev team for correction.

Thanks for the response!. The equation (asmin =3*sqrt(fc)/fy*bw*d ) should be 0.31 in2 (2.01 cm2)  instead  3.107 in2, correct me if Im wrong.
