2nd order modal analysis

Hi,

Is there a way to perform a "2nd order modal analysis"?

I am doing a calibration with other softwares and the conclusion we have reached is due to the type of modal analysis robot do.

Thanks

Hi Rafal,
Sorry but I don't get any clear idea.

My idea was to show you how modal modal analysis on nonlinear model is performed, what assumptions are, what limitations are.

Hi,

your request was not quite clear so Rafal answered assuming dynamic analysis run for the non-linear models.

If you mean the "stress stiffening" effects in modal analysis (like increasing the frequency of vibrations in case of big centrifugal forces or decreasing the frequency of vibrations in case of high-rise structures with big compression forces in columns and cores) it can be considered in Robot using modal analysis taking into account static forces.

Some screen capture showing how to activate it is available there.
