calculate truss lower chord zero value

 

When  I calculate steel truss, lower chord Moment and other forces is zero! in Full force table is normal value, but lower chord zero! RSA2020 and 2021

hard to tell without the model ,as we don´t where are bar 65, supports ,loads.

Zip it before attaching ,if possible.

Hi @m_nikazis 

Forces table shows (by default) force values in bar end-nodes only. Since lower chord is defined as one continuous beam which goes beyond diagonals and probably is not supported at the end, axial force in lower chord end-nodes is zero.

To see forces in lower chord intermediate points, you have to present more points along chord length. Click right mouse button on active table > then Table columns from context menu > go to Division points tab. Select as many points as you need for presentation.
