wrong rebar volume

Seems to me Revit Structure 2008 is reporting the wrong estimated
reinforcement volume.

For example:
I draw a 10m long concrete beam (300mmX600mm)
Then add a 19M rebar to it (10m long)

In the beam properties, the estimated reinforcement volume is shown as 0.006
m3
If I pick the rebar, Revit shows it's reinforcement volume as 0.006m3

Shouldn't a 19M rebar (ASTM A615M, which has a 19.1mm diameter and a section
area of 284mm2) by 10m long, have a volume of 0.0028 m3 ??

I'm getting roughly double the volume of reinforcement that it should be.

Yes, looks like a "bug" to me, also present on version 4.

How do you show reinforcement volume for regular bars in RST4?
I know you can schedule area reinforcement by host for walls and slabs...

The Revit Structure page has been updated with a new build:

Check the release notes- it says that the rebar volume bug is fixed.

Joe, sorry for the confusion.
The bug in RST4 was in the reinforcement volume on walls.
The reported reinforcement volume for a wall is about 10% less than what it
should be.

I'm downloading 2008's latest build to see if both bugs were taken care of.
