Waffle Slabs

Can Revit Structure model waffle slabs? If not be a command, is there a
work around (i.e. and in-place family)?

To make it appearcorrect, there are two methods. Since I'm an Arch. I can't speak to how the slab(s) will react with the analysis programs. You can make a single slab, the total thickness, then create an inplace void family, have it cut the slab partway from underneath. This void can be arrayed after you are sure it is cutting the slab correctly. You can also create a thinner slab, and use concrete beams as joists underneath. You can then use the join geometry tool to make a section of them appear correct.

There is a good waffle family on RevitCity.com.

in Revit Structure 2009, the slabs and beams will join geometry automatically.

How do you analyze a waffle slab? Is it done as a series of small T-beams or is it done in some other fashion more line analyzing a two-way slab?
