Vertical Chamfer at Wall Joint ?

Hello,

I have 2 Structural walls (Generic concrete) meeting and need a vertical chamfer on the inside of the joint. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Richard

Can you sketch something so we have a better idea of what your trying to do?

Ideas to try(In no specific order):

1. Split with Gap

2. Disallow Join

3. In-Place Family (with or without void form)

4. Vertical Wall Reveal (Custom Profile)

I've tried attaching a PLAN view of what I want to model, but it doesn't seem to want to work for me.

Perhaps I should have said a "Fillet" as opposed to "Chamfer".

Thanks,

Hi,

You could create a vertical wall sweep using the tool or create an in-place family with any shape you want. If your intent is just to fillet the walls, then you can simply use the fillet tool from the modify/walls ribbon. It is located in the draw tools.
