I am tring - without much success to add a roof to what is basically a simple rectangle building. I can get a normal sloping roof, but the eaves are far too deep, but want to have brick gable ends. I have tried to follow the text book and videos, but to no success. I guess i am doing something that is straightforward wrong, but some additional help would be appreciated.
Also tried loading the timber library as I wanted to indcate timber joists but it won't load - any suggestions please.
Suggest going to the help menu and tutorials first. There is a lot to explain about roof and it sounds like your question is very generally how do you create a roof. Post some pictures if there is something specific you are trying to accomplish that you can't figure out.
With the framing, keep in mind that this has to be modeled seperately, it's not something that is integrated as part of the roof tool.
