I am currently trying to create a gable truss to fit a 3:12 roof with a 2' overhang past the face of cmu with an 8" fascia. I can get the overhang to work, but because the truss top chord member attaches at the centerline I can't get the fascia to work. Does anyone know how to change the reference for the truss so that the top chord reference plane is attached to the top of structure. I can get the bottom chord to bear on the bottom of the member.
Also if I build the truss in the model not using the truss features and just using beams I can get the top chord and bottom chords fine, but I can't get any web members.
