Transparency settings

I'm have a little over 6 months experience in Revit and I'm having problem with the transparency settings. I've created a generic model that I want to use to simulate water.

In order to see the topography I've created located "underwater" I make the generic model a level 50 transparent.

The image above shows my problem, it is like the other models become transparent as well. I would like the "water" to remain behind the dam.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

If you are using the 2013 software, it looks like you are seeing the issue described in the following blog posting:

Glazing Appears Through Walls in Revit 2013

Note: The issue relates to transparent elements (not just glazing).

Thank you for your reply. This proved to be much less of a problem than I thought. Once I printed the model (pdf and on paper) the picture came out just right, with no transparency in the dam. It only looked like that in the Revit model window.
