Structural steel connection

Can anyone recommend a way to connect H steel together as beam or column?

I have tried advance steel and i cant export it back to revit?

Is there any more intelligent way to do that?

sorry but you mean something like this, elements are families of plates and are parameterized and of course you count, we did not go the holes or screws but can be done. like a famili or model in-place like structural conecction.

take a look at SDS/2 Connect http://www.sds2connect.com/  it is an add-in for Revit that actually designs connections. Not bery expensive. If this is beyond what you are looking for I have seen some people actaully make their own Revit families - those also had lots of paramaters and would take lots of time to develop - at that rate you might be better off looking into SDS/2 Connect. 

Any real reason that you want to show that level of detail?
