Section marks not showing

Can anyone tell me why my section marks does not show on roof level but shows on level 1. I've checked my

view range and it looks okay. I would appreciate any input on this.

-Maybe you section window does not intersect the roof level

-Maybe roof plan is a structural view, but the section architectural view.

In addition to the previous suggestions, I'd also take a look at the following:

- On the View Control Bar, click the small light bulb to Reveal Hidden Elements to be able to tell if the sections are hidden.

- Check the scale of the view. In Level 1, select a section marker and check its Properties. Verify that the Hide at Scales Coarser Than value is set to show the sections in the view scale of your Roof plan.

You may want to take a look at the Objects are Not Visible section of the Troubleshooting View and Visibility Issues document in the Help menu as well.

I hope this helps!

I just realised today that section marks can be on different phases. I had some showing in some views, but not others. When I changed the phase of the section mark to match the phase of the view, the missing ones appeared.

Thank you. It worked perfect.

Not sure if you're still with Autodesk after seven years, but your other solution of setting the "Hide at scales coarser than..." was the ticket for my problem.  Thanks!

Yes, check the View Range, the Filters and the Visibility Graphics etc.

But also check that a Phase has been set.
