Revit vs Advance Steel for structural design

I know the two programs are not exactly related, but either one could be what I am looking for. Not to dive into too deep, basically I am needing the best solution to work with Staad.pro. My structural engineers use Staad.pro and the structural designers, myself included, are using Autocad MEP for structural design work. We are looking for a more productive software package that can seamlessly integrate with Staad. I have Revit and have used the extention to translate with Staad. I also recently installed a trial version of Advance Steel 2015. It can also export Staad files. I have sent models from both software packages to one of the engineers to plug into Staad to see how it worked. Both have glitches that could be troublesome. My question to the structural design world is, does anybody else use either of these programs with success?
