I'm trying to find out if you can export from Revit Structure to ADSK format? I know this is possible with Revit Architecture.
Can anyone confirm whether this can be done through a single Revit Structure license (not a design suite license)?
Thank you.
I checked in Revit Structure 2013, and I do not see the option to export to a Building Site (ADSK).
I have verified that the option to export to a Building Site is available in Revit Architecture 2013, and in Revit 2013.
I'm also looking to the answer to this, there isn't an opion to export Building site in Revit Structure 2013. So how do we get an ADSK file? How insert my model into Civil 3D?
While there is an option to export to an ADSK file in Revit 2013, and Revit Architecture 2013, it does not look like this option is available in Revit Structure.
You could look for an add-in to allow exporting directly to Civil 3D or to an ADSK file.
Alternatively, you could use one of the export options available for RST, e.g. DWG, and bring in the resulting file to Civil 3D.
Additionally, if you have access to Revit Architecture, or Revit, then you could use this to export to an ADSK file.
You may want to check on this Lance, this feature seems to be broken... no matter what you do when you try to import a build site from Revit into C3D it is not recognising the survey point and it moved to the center of the building regardless of the location of the survey point on the Revit site even if you move the project coordinate point in Revit still doesn't work.
