Reinforcement Detailing add-ons

Hi everyone,

For my graduate research i am researching ways to make 3D reinforcement models with Revit structures. From this research I want to make a comparison and choose the best method. For the chosen method i want to make a work instruction to use it as efficient as possible.

I have found SOFiSTiK Reinforcement Detailing 2014 but im having a hard time finding other add-ons or tools.

Does anyone know any add-ons i can use in for my comparison.

The analysis extension for Revit has some things in it. You might want to go have a look there

With that you can link your model through to Robot

Hi

My experience is that the industry is not using Revit to produce full RC drawings/details at this moment.

Most of the time the information is exported and then completed using CADS RC.

I personally use ASD (Autocad Structural Detailing) for my rebar drawings and Revit has an extension to directly link the 2.
