Reinforced Concrete Detailing

I think REVIT STRUCTURE is a very user friendly software that I know so far. I learn for a days and can start using it in my real job. However, I think REVIT STRUCTURE should not rely on 3rd party eg.ETABS, RISA to do analysis. Why not REVIT develop into a software that come in all in one i.e. analysis, design and detailing (especially for reinforced concrete). Such as CSC Orion.........etc

Because "one-size-fits-all" doesn't work with analysis software. Each
program has its strengths and weaknesses.

The way it works now, you can use the same model in RISA, RAM, and ETABS
without having to re-build the model three more times.

Since we can design 3D model in Revit, is it possible to do reinforcement detailing in 3D model? If not, we hope it can be done in this way as Tekla. If posaible, how? Some reinforcements are deisgned in 3D format by designer in other software and we need to schedule the reinforcment. Is it possible to drawing the reinforcemnt in Revit?

It is possible to create reinforcement in the Revit model and thn scheudle and provide documentation for the rebar.

Please search the discussion group for specific topics and feedback from users who are doing this.  Also check the Revit help:
