Re.: Problem in different size of Beam depth

Hi,

I am facing a problem with different size of beam depth. For a example:- 1. Beam depth is 450 X 600mm

                                                                                                                 2. Beam depth is 200 X 1150mm

When i am trying to place these two different size of beam depth face to face, the bottom face of  higher depth of beam is gone allthru of the lower depth of beam bottom face. These are not trim also. I want to fix them face to face. But not able to do this.

Please find the attached Revit file where this problem is very clear.

Please advise.

There is no pretty solution for this one i could find.....

1) you create a narrow beam 200x600 to create the shape and add another shalow beam underneath it...

2) create an opening by face in the beam so it matches the shallower beam.

Hope it helps. sorry i cant find a better solution...
