Plot section/callout heads full tone

I installed AutoCAD® 2015 English 64-Bit Service Pack 2 and ever since have been unable to plot section/callout heads in full tone.  At first section heads that looked like Revit View.jpg (attached) plotted looking like pdf view.jpg.  So I checked the "View Links in Blue (Color prints only)" option which made the section head plot like PDF VIEW WITH PRINT BLUE.jpg.  This is an improvement but still not acceptable.  I like that section/callout heads are plotting to pdf as interactive links but if its at the expense of an actractive set of plan documents, I'd prefer they didn't.  Anyone know of a switch to turn this off or of a work-around?

I believe this is related to the way that Acrobat is representing the links, I tested printing to CutePDF, and the section markers look normal (but are still clickable links).

If you look in the PDF printer options do you see an option to change how links are displayed?
