No Paint?

Hi,

New to Revit and still climbing the steep learning curve!

Why do some framing members not take a paint finish?

I would like to keep their material as they should be and paint the member, but not all will let me do this!

Any ideas?

A good way would be duplicating the material or creating a new one, in your material manager, so you're not changing all of the framing members associated with that material.  Then apply a color tint to the new material.
