Hi there,
What is the best practice to create various concrete materials same in every manner only with different compressive strengths? Key point here: Members with those materials assigned, should join cleanly without a line on their intersection.
I believe mechanical properties shouldn't effect appearance so that materials with same appearance properties should join without a line at intersection.

Wouldn't it be great to see concrete with different properties when preparing for QC of design. I also find it difficult to produce a concrete structure in reality with two different types of concrete joining without visible joint. Can you please give an example for better understanding.
Hi,
here is a sample video in which I create walls and floors with otb concrete material. Once I duplicate the material it no longer joins clean with the original one. So even the name change alters the joining behaviour. Which is very bad, especially while working with section views.

While joining materials must be of the same name.
Do it this way:
Rafal, thanks for the tip! But I believe it would be more convinient if the join behaviour become independent of material name or other irrelevant properties. Please note this as a wish for future updates and I hope design team considers this once more.
Thanks.
