Importing autocad drawing with line thickness

I am trying to import an autocad drawing which is generated by a design program to use as an underlay.  In the dwg file some of the lines have a thickness (see screen shot).  These lines do not import to Revit because they are 3-d.  I have tried exploding them but that does no good.  Any ideas on how to change these line to 2-d elements?

You'll need to open the dwg in ACAD, and change the 'thickness' there.  Open the file, type CHANGE in the Command Line, at the prompt, type all>enter, then one of the options you should see is Thickness, or something like that< type in "0", and enter.  That 'should' take care of it.  Then bring it back into the project.
