Having drawn a complete timber frame structure structure in revit wheb I transfer the model to Robot for analysis it all starts to go wrong. Some of the elements seem to end up being either longer or moved completly. Once manualy correcting these the analysis program comes back with all elements failing badly as it does not seem to be able to pick up the fact the floor sits between the lower and upper wall, and the top of wall plates consist of 2 sections of timber linked togther. This also to apply to floor trimmers. I have one which is made of 3 timbers bolted together and the best auto correct can do is link 2 of them together followed by teh error about overlapping members. Can anyone offer advice as to how to get round any of these problems?
