IFC Export Level/Elevation

When exporting an IFC and then loading into another program, objects are named and hosted based on their relative elevation in the model, NOT the level they are hosted on in Revit.

For example, a slab would come in named as the elevation "sandwich" it is in (Level 5, for example) which also happens to be the floor it is hosted on. However, when a beam for said floor comes in, it is named and placed on Level 4, even though it is hosted in Revit on Level 5 - seemingly because beams are located below the cuttoff elevation for level 5.

Is there any way to change the IFC export to export objects based on the level they are hosted on, instead of what level "sandwich" they live in, so to speak?
