Floor span tag in dependent views

I have a building broken into 4 dependent views. My plywood decking is one boundary for the whole floor. I want to tag my floors in each dependent view but since the overall extents of the floor is beyond the crop boundary for the dependent views the tags will not show up. Is there a way around this besides making a dummy tag or cutting the floor up into sections?

OK, I modified the span direction tag family. I made it a floor tag and I deleted the reference lines so it doesn't find the extents of the floor. I am really not sure how it finds the extents but deleting the ref lines made it stop.

Now it still reads the floor type and can be placed in dependent views.
