External Tools - Add-in Assembly Not Found

When I open Revit Structure 2013 I get the following message:

Revit error.JPG

Anyone knows what it is about and how to solve it?

Hi,

I'm not sure what caused the problem but you can check by going to the following folder.

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2013 (If you're on windows 7).

You should check for the addins already installed.

If you want a certain addin not to load, either move it to another folder, or add (.whatever) i.e. .dontload, ...  at the end.

Regards,

Once again, Ali's advice is correct.

It looks like this Add-in is part of Hilt's "Objects for Revit" plug-in.

It looks like they only have one add-in "for Revit 2012 or newer".  (It's not clear to me how this would actually work)

If you're not using this, you could try to uninstall it from add/remove programs.

If you don't want to uninstall it, follow Ali's advice.

Joe
