different color brick in elevations and 3d view

Looking at an exterior brick wall, I created a new material for a different color, and applied it to my new wall type.  Color is correct in elevations, but is still the same old color in 3d view. Any idea where I need to look to make it look correct in 3dview? Not sure why the color would be correct in the sections, but differetn in the 3d view.

when you create your new material, make sure you change the graphic under the "Appearance" tab to the new brick (affects renderings) but also the settings under the "Graphic" properties tab which affects the 3d view. The simplest solution is to just select the "Use Render Appearance" setting for the 3d graphic color to match the approximate color of the image selected under appearance.
