I want to create a very specific truss. See attached image. Currently I have just been using the default trusses(modified Howe) within Revit and then loading in the pieces and swapping them out one by one. Followed by detail components in a drafting views for the plates and cut angles. But I would really like to have the full detail of the truss modeled in 3D. I could just model the entire truss as a component but I would also like to keep the analytical lines in case we need to do a structural analysis. Any thoughts on the best we to approch this?
