brace work points

We have a condition where the brace centerline intersects the beam at the top flange, not at the centerline of the beam. Revit seems to always want to snap to the beam centerline. Is there any easy way around this (rather than changing the attachment distance or ratio)?

Try this....save the beam family with a unique name..Then edit the unique beam family....When opening this family take a look at the front elevation view. Change the "Ref. level" from the center of the beam to the bottom flange of the beam. Just use this beam family where braces occur. Hope this helps.
