Beam and Slab Analytical Models do not have the same Analytical Projection Plane

I am getting the following warning for a number of beams:

"Beam and Slab Analytical Models do not have the same Analytical Projection Plane. "

What does it mean? How to fix it? I am getting it for some beams that do not even support the slab and are only adjacent.

I tried to google this warning, but there are virtually no results.

Patrick,

It is related to tolerance(s) set in your model. If you set default value as shown below this warining will not be displayed.

In your model this distance is set as 1feet.

Your solution fixes only the specific example that I provided.

If the distance between the beam and the floor is smaller (interestingly, larger than 6") the warning still shows up.

Try to move the affected beam down by a few inches and you will see the warning again.

This should work like this.
The idea of this algorithm check was to report beams within this range but not projected on slab plane.
Thanks for reporting. We will check algorithm to improve it.
