Autodesk Revit Structure 2010 Metric tutorials - Customizing Truss Parameters

Has anyone done the Tutorial as available from this site? On page 109 Customizing Truss Parameters the bottom chord is changed to a radiused member. After following the steps outlined in the Tutorial, step 18 'Finish Truss' tab, the following Error Message appears, "Error - cannot be ignored.  Truss reference must form a continuous chain of one or more sketch lines. What does this mean and why does it not work as per the tutorial?

When you redrew the bottom chord, did you select the Bottom Chord button first? It will default to sketching the top chord so if you didn't select it first, Revit will think you are sketching another line for the top and give that error. The sketch line for the top chord will be pink and the bottom will be blue, so it should be fairly easy to tell if that happened.

Yes that works now, I missed step 12 selecting the "Bottom Chord' tab. I have now highlighted that step and written idiot next to for next time!

Thanks for your response.
